Kyiv, October 23 (Xinhua) — Due to Russia's previous massive strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities, hourly power outages are being implemented in half of Ukraine's regions on Thursday. Ukrenergo, the operator of the Ukrainian energy system, reported this on Telegram.

The company noted that these measures will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Kyiv time. At the same time, power capacity for industry and businesses will be limited in these regions.

According to the Ukrainian side, on Wednesday night, Russia launched 28 missiles, including 15 ballistic missiles, and 405 drones at ten Ukrainian regions. It was reported that 349 aerial targets, including 16 missiles, were successfully suppressed. Direct hits from 12 missiles and 55 attack drones were recorded at 26 locations.
