BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) — The 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) was held in Beijing from October 20 to 23, 2025.
As reported in a communiqué published on Thursday, the plenary session reviewed and adopted the “Proposals of the CPC Central Committee on the 15th Five-Year Program for National Economic and Social Development.”
According to the document, the plenary session was chaired by the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee. General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping delivered an important speech.
