Tashkent, October 22 (Xinhua) — Uzbekistan exported $11.6 million worth of apples in the first eight months of this year, local media reported Wednesday, citing the country's National Statistics Committee.
“According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, Uzbekistan exported 22.6 thousand tons of apples worth $11.6 million to 10 foreign countries,” the report says.
It is reported that among the countries to which Uzbekistan supplied apples in the eight months, Russia took first place with 10,721 thousand tons, Kazakhstan took second place with 10,098 thousand tons, followed by Kyrgyzstan with 1,275 thousand tons. –0–
