Moscow, October 18 (Xinhua) — Three people were killed and two more children were injured in a six-car collision in Serpukhov, Moscow Region, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow Region reported on Saturday.

According to the department, a multiple-vehicle accident occurred at 4:00 PM Moscow time on the 99th kilometer of the M-2 "Crimea" highway. According to preliminary reports, a truck driver collided with other vehicles.

"According to preliminary information, the driver of a truck collided with three trucks and two cars. As a result of the accident, three people were killed and two children were injured," the statement reads.
