Astana, October 16 (Xinhua) — The number of Chinese-invested companies in Kazakhstan reached its highest growth rate in three and a half years in September, the Kazinform news agency reported Thursday, citing the Data Hub analytical platform.

According to analysts, 307 new legal entities and branches with Chinese owners were registered in Kazakhstan from September 1 to October 1, 2025, bringing their total number to 7,100. This is the highest monthly increase since January 2022.

In terms of growth rates, China took first place among all countries, but in terms of the total number of registered legal entities, it remains in third place after Russia and Uzbekistan. –0–
