Beijing, October 13 (Xinhua) — The Great World of Ice and Snow in Harbin, one of the world's largest ice and snow theme parks, will open this winter as scheduled and will be expanded to a record-breaking size. This was reported by the Heilongjiang Daily, citing information from a recent presentation of the ice and snow tourism program for the 2025-2026 season in Heilongjiang Province, northeast China.
The "Great World of Ice and Snow," already one of China's most popular winter tourism brands, will be held for the 27th time and will be the largest in its history. It will showcase more ice and snow sculptures, offer more ambitious and diverse entertainment attractions, and a more extensive program of artistic performances. The park promises tourists a more immersive experience and more convenient intellectual services.
During the aforementioned presentation, it was emphasized that despite the park's expansion and modernization of its services, the entrance fee will remain unchanged at 328 yuan (approximately $46). From October 10th to 22nd, during events promoting the park's new season, advance tickets will be available for use between December 26th and 30th.
As reported, the 27th "Great World of Ice and Snow" in Harbin is currently in the full-scale preparatory stage. -0-
