BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) — China's total merchandise imports and exports in yuan terms increased 4 percent year-on-year to 33.61 trillion yuan (approximately 4.73 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first nine months of this year, according to data released Monday by the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
According to the data, the growth rate of the indicator accelerated compared to the 3.5 percent growth recorded in the first eight months of this year.
