Beijing, October 13 (Xinhua) — The 2025 China-Russia Youth Friendly Table Tennis Tournament opened on Saturday in the border city of Heihe in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. More than 100 players from both countries participated, according to the local daily Heilongjiang Daily.
The tournament will be held in two stages: from October 10th to 12th in Heihe, and from October 13th to 15th in the neighboring Russian city of Blagoveshchensk. The main organizers of the competition are the Heilongjiang Provincial Administration of Physical Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Amur Region, and the Heihe City Hall.
This tournament has been successfully held four times before, becoming a platform for stimulating sports exchanges between Chinese and Russian youth.
