Moscow, October 11 (Xinhua) – Three people were killed and two were injured in a collision between two vessels on Lake Baikal in Russia's Irkutsk Region, TASS reported on Saturday, citing the Eastern Interregional Transport Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee.
According to the agency, the incident occurred near the village of Listvyanka. Five people were on board one of the small vessels. As a result of the collision, three of them died, one person was injured and hospitalized, and another is receiving medical treatment at the scene.
Investigative bodies are conducting an investigation into the incident, and all the circumstances and causes of the collision are being determined. –0–
