Pyongyang, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) — The Democratic People's Republic of Korea held a military parade at Kim Il Sung Square in central Pyongyang on Friday to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK, spoke at the event, which was also attended by several foreign leaders.
