Yerevan, October 10 (Xinhua) — Armenia welcomes the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip reached between the Israeli government and the Palestinian organization Hamas, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
“We welcome the agreement reached on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which also ensures the release of hostages and free access to humanitarian aid,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on the social media platform X.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry also expressed hope that the agreement will pave the way for long-term peace and stability in the Middle East. –0–
