Moscow, October 10 /Xinhua/ — A MiG-31 aircraft crashed on approach to land in the Lipetsk region on Thursday. The crew ejected, and their lives are not in danger, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to the agency, on October 9 at approximately 7:20 PM Moscow time, a MiG-31 aircraft crashed during landing after a scheduled training flight in the Lipetsk region. The crew ejected, and the pilots are not in danger.
The plane crashed in an uninhabited area and was flying without ammunition, the Defense Ministry noted.
