Tbilisi, October 7 (Xinhua) — The 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be held in the Georgian capital from October 22 to 23 under the motto "Invest in Connectivity – Develop in Stability," the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development announced on Tuesday.

The forum will be attended by up to 2,000 delegates, including prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, and sectoral ministers from countries in the region, heads of leading global companies and international financial institutions, representatives of businesses and international organizations, and international experts.

Seven panel sessions will be held on October 22, covering key areas such as global trade, transport and logistics, the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), energy, and digital transformation. A separate session will be devoted to Georgia's investment climate and opportunities.

On October 23, the Tbilisi Financial Summit, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the National Bank of Georgia, and the Singapore-based Global Finance organization, will be held for the first time as part of the forum.
