Almaty, October 7 (Xinhua) — Life expectancy in Kazakhstan is expected to increase from 75.4 to 75.8 years this year, the Kazinform news agency reported on Tuesday, citing Kazakh Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova.
Speaking at a government meeting, she noted that life expectancy has increased to 75.4 years since the introduction of mandatory social health insurance in Kazakhstan. According to the World Bank, Kazakhstan is the leader among Central Asian countries in this indicator.
