The Russian Geographical Society (RGS) announces the annual international educational project "Geographical Dictation," which will take place in person on November 30, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The event aims to popularize geographical knowledge, improve geographical awareness, and enhance the educational level of the population.
The Geographical Dictation is a unique opportunity for anyone to test and expand their knowledge of our planet. This year, participants will be asked to answer 40 questions of varying difficulty levels, covering both basic knowledge and tasks that challenge their creative thinking and erudition.
The purpose of the dictation: to popularize geography, develop geographical culture and attract the attention of the general public to current geographical topics.
Anyone can take part in the Geographical Dictation, regardless of age or level of knowledge. It's a wonderful opportunity to have a fun and productive time, learn something new, and test your knowledge of the world.
To do this you need to:
Register on the project's official website; Register using the special form to take the dictation in person at the State University of Management; On the day of the dictation, come to the chosen location, receive the assignment form, and complete it.
Guests of the university may enter the premises of the State University of Management (GUU) if accompanied by teachers and upon presentation of a passport or other identification document.
