BEIJING, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) — A total of 260 China-Europe international rail freight trains were dispatched under the supervision of customs authorities in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, in the first nine months of 2025, according to the news website chinanews.com.
According to statistics, these trains carried more than 22,000 standard containers (TEU) with goods worth a total of about 5.9 billion yuan (approximately 828.7 million US dollars).
According to local customs authorities, from October 1 to 8, during the 8-day holiday to celebrate the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhongqiujie), four China-Europe trains are scheduled to depart from Guangzhou International Port Station, carrying 388 standard containers of cargo worth about 120 million yuan.
