BEIJING, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday sent a congratulatory message to Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg on the occasion of his accession to the throne.
As Xi Jinping noted in his message, over the more than 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Luxembourg have always respected each other and treated each other as equals, setting a model for promoting mutual achievements, mutual benefit and win-win outcomes for countries of different sizes, with different systems and at different stages of development.
According to him, bilateral cooperation has yielded significant results in sectors such as steel, finance and logistics, while the Air Silk Road between Zhengzhou (Central China) and Luxembourg has contributed to the stable and smooth operation of Chinese-European production chains.
Xi Jinping assured that he attaches particular importance to the development of bilateral relations and is ready to work with Grand Duke Guillaume to continuously elevate China-Luxembourg relations to new heights, bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.
