Sochi, October 3 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin called the situation in Gaza a terrible event in modern human history. He stated Russia's readiness to support US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan if it leads to a settlement of the conflict, which is possible through the creation of two states. The Russian president made this statement while answering questions from experts at the Valdai International Discussion Club.
“Regarding President Trump’s proposals on Gaza, you know, it will probably be unexpected for you, but overall, Russia is ready to support him,” Putin said.
