The Moscow government has decided to implement a comprehensive territorial development project (CTD) in the Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye and Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye districts. Sports infrastructure will be created there, according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
"The city has approved the KRT project on Shipilovsky Proyezd. The 6.61-hectare site is located in the Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye and Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoye districts. Modern sports facilities are planned for construction here. The redevelopment of the territory will be carried out by an investor selected through a tender. The work is planned to be completed within four years. The project will create approximately 1,800 jobs," said Vladimir Efimov.
The site designated for redevelopment is located at 55 Shipilovsky Proezd. The Orekhovo and Domodedovskaya stations on the Zamoskvoretskaya metro line are nearby.
"Among the facilities that could be built are a sports and fitness center with a swimming pool, a skating rink, and a fitness center. The total area of the sports facilities will be almost 56,000 square meters. In addition to the construction of buildings, landscaping activities and the creation of the necessary road infrastructure are planned," added the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin made decisions on the integrated development of territories inseven districts.
As part of the Integrated Territorial Development (ITD) program, attractive urban spaces are being created in former industrial zones, inefficiently used, and undeveloped areas, seamlessly integrating into the city's fabric. Currently, 336 IID projects, covering a total area of over 4,200 hectares, are at various stages of development and implementation in the capital.
