Sochi, October 1 (Xinhua) – Developing cooperation with China, the world's largest economy, benefits everyone, and Russia derives significant benefits from such interaction. This was stated on Wednesday by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
"China is the world's largest economy. China is a sovereign state with extensive competencies and a developed industry. This means that for any country in the world, cooperation with China always brings great opportunities. And we see that China is actively expanding cooperation with all BRICS countries without exception," said Oreshkin, responding to a question from Xinhua.
Speaking about Russian-Chinese relations, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation noted that over the past five to ten years, trade turnover has grown very rapidly, and investment cooperation and humanitarian ties have developed.
