Since the beginning of the year, the city has allocated more than 18 hectares of land for the construction of sports facilities as part of the implementation of large-scale investment projects (MaIP). This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.

Since the beginning of 2025, over 18 hectares of land have been allocated for five projects in the south, northwest, west, and east of the capital. The area of the new buildings and associated infrastructure will exceed 58,000 square meters," said Vladimir Efimov.

The city allocates land for the construction of industrial and innovation complexes, social and transport facilities, if the project's parameters meet the criteria of the Moscow Institute of Industrial Property (MAIP). This creates additional jobs and promotes the development of the capital's districts.

Four large-scale sports investment projects are being implemented in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain.

For example, in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, over six hectares of land have been allocated for the construction of a training center for the Russian national football teams. A sports complex for students of the future educational center is planned for a 1.16-hectare site in Moskvorechye-Saburovo. It will include football, volleyball, and tennis courts, a running track, workout areas, and a long jump pit," she noted.

In eastern Moscow, a developer has been allocated 0.43 hectares of land for the construction of a sports complex.
