BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — The Chinese government's 2025 Friendship Prize was presented on Tuesday to 50 foreign experts in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the country's development.
State Councilor Shen Yiqin congratulated the laureates at a ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
She noted that foreign experts, together with the Chinese people, have made significant contributions to Chinese-style modernization, as well as to friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries. These achievements will forever remain in the memory of the Chinese people, Shen Yiqin emphasized.
According to the State Councilor, China is confident in its strength and has the capabilities to ensure long-term stable development, which will inject new impetus and bring new opportunities to the world.
Shen Yiqin assured that China will consistently promote a high-level policy of opening up, actively encourage innovative cooperation, deepen reform of the personnel training system, and attract more highly qualified foreign specialists to work, innovate, and engage in entrepreneurial activity in China.
