TIANJIN, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) — The first batch of Chinese agricultural machinery exported to Central Asia from Tianjin through the bonded cargo leasing mechanism recently cleared customs and was sent to Kazakhstan.
The equipment, valued at approximately 5 million yuan, was supplied by China Textile Machinery and Technology Import and Export Co., Ltd. (CTMTC), and was exported and leased by a leasing company operating in the Dongjiang Bonded Industrial Zone in Tianjin.
In Kazakhstan, these agricultural equipment will be used in a large cotton processing complex created by a leading cotton company from Xinjiang, China, in cooperation with the Kazakh side.
This delivery marks the first successful trial of a new export model in the form of bonded cargo leasing, which, according to experts, will facilitate the promotion of Chinese equipment in the Central Asian markets and deepen industrial cooperation between China and the countries of the region. -0-
