Islamabad, September 28 (Xinhua) — At least eight people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Panjgur district of Balochistan province in southwest Pakistan on Saturday, a spokesman for Pakistan's government-run Rescue 1122 told Xinhua.
He said a pickup truck carrying fuel collided with a passenger bus on the main highway in Gomazin district.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision, killing eight passengers instantly and seriously injuring three others.
Police and rescuers arrived at the scene and took the burned bodies and victims to the hospital.
Authorities said the identities of the victims could not be immediately determined. An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
