URUMQI, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) — Members of the central delegation on Friday continued to visit cadres and residents in several places in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPC).
Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and head of the central delegation, led a group of members of the central delegation to the cities of Temenguan and Beitun, which are administratively subordinate to the CPPCC.
The CPSC has made a significant contribution to promoting social stability and long-term order in Xinjiang, Wang Huning stated.
