Resolution of September 24, 2025 No. 1466
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree moving the number of public holidays into 2026.
This year, January 3rd and 4th fall on a Saturday and Sunday. Since these are non-working holidays, it has been decided to move them to Friday, January 9th, and Thursday, December 31st, respectively.
Thus, taking into account the Labor Code provision on transferring a day off to the next working day when a day off and a non-working holiday coincide, in 2026 the following days off will be available:
— from December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026 (12 days),
— from February 21 to 23 (3 days),
— from March 7 to 9 (3 days),
— from May 1 to May 3 and from May 9 to May 11 (3 days each),
— from June 12 to 14 (3 days),
– November 4,
– December 31st.
