In the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, 18 residential complexes are being built simultaneously as part of the renovation program. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
"Construction of 18 buildings is ongoing in six districts in the northern part of the capital as part of the renovation program. Five new buildings are being built simultaneously in the Timiryazevsky and Dmitrovsky districts, four in Koptevo, two in Beskudnikovsky, and one in Golovinsky. Another residential complex is being built in the Savelovsky district—it will be the first building in the district under the renovation program. The area surrounding the new buildings will be improved: trees and shrubs will be planted, lawns and flower beds will be created," said Vladimir Efimov.
The residential complexes are located in areas with well-developed infrastructure. Social amenities, including shops, pharmacies, schools and kindergartens, medical facilities, metro stations, and other transportation hubs are nearby.
"The new buildings being constructed in the north of the capital will feature a total of over 6,300 apartments, 89 of which will be adapted for people with disabilities. The total living space will exceed 360,000 square meters. The apartments will feature improved finishes, doors, necessary plumbing fixtures, and lighting, and glazed loggias. The courtyards of the new buildings will feature playgrounds, sports grounds, and recreation areas with safe rubber surfaces. All spaces will be designed to be barrier-free, ensuring convenient access to the entrances for all residents, including those with disabilities," explained the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy.
Committee for State Construction Supervision of the City of Moscow oversees the construction of buildings to implement the renovation program at all stages. According to the agency's chairman Anton SlobodchikovaCommittee inspectors conducted a total of 92 on-site inspections at 13 sites, assessing the quality of work performed and materials used for compliance with approved design requirements. Construction of five more buildings has only just begun, but schedules for inspection and oversight activities have already been drawn up. The first inspections are planned for the end of this year.
New buildings are constructed using high-quality materials and modern technologies that incorporate energy efficiency standards. They comply with the renovation program standards.
