New York, September 23 (Xinhua) — China is ready to resolve trade and economic issues in its relations with Canada through dialogue and consultation. Chinese State Council Premier Li Qiang stated this Tuesday during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
Li Qiang called on the two sides to deepen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, green development, tourism, and other areas. He also expressed hope that Canada would provide a fair and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies in the country. –0–
