Minsk, September 23 (Xinhua) — A Chinese medical equipment exhibition opened in Belarus on Tuesday. The event, held at the Great Stone Industrial Park, is organized by the China Medical Equipment Association and the Belarusian Ministry of Health.
As Belarusian Health Minister Alexander Khodjaev noted at the opening ceremony, in the modern world, technology and innovation play a key role in economic development, enhancing the competitiveness of countries, improving the well-being of people, and improving the quality of life of people in various fields.
“Our Chinese colleagues came to us not only to demonstrate the latest achievements in medical technology, but also to strengthen our bilateral cooperation in this important sector and create a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience,” he said, adding that China rightfully holds the title of world leader in the development and production of medical equipment.
"The exhibitors will present the most effective medical products, developed based on a deep understanding of modern needs, to Belarusian specialists. Our Chinese colleagues will offer cutting-edge examples of high-tech surgical medical equipment, solutions for rehabilitation and disease prevention, invasive surgery, medical imaging, radiotherapy, and infection control.
