Tbilisi, September 21 (Xinhua) — Georgian agricultural exports from January to August 2025 exceeded $1.118 billion, up 3.4 percent from the same period last year, the Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture reported on Sunday.
The main export items were alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, stone fruits, processed stone fruits and blueberries.
Agricultural and food product exports to the European Union increased by $18.3 million, or 19 percent, to $113.9 million. This growth was driven primarily by exports of nuts, fruit, and vegetable juices.
