SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) — Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong said Saturday that China is willing to cooperate with all countries to jointly build a global scientific and technological community and create a better future.
Liu Guozhong, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the statement at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum in Shanghai.
The Vice Premier called for the establishment of an open and inclusive global innovation network, jointly addressing major challenges such as climate change, promoting the mutual exchange of technological achievements, and improving the global scientific and technological governance system, while simultaneously implementing the Global Governance Initiative.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus (the country is the guest of honor at the forum this year) Nikolai Snopkov, as well as member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Chen Jining. –0–
