BEIJING, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) — Since 2012, China's central government has allocated more than 4 trillion yuan (approximately 562.3 billion U.S. dollars) in transfer payments to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR, northwest China), including 543.48 billion yuan in 2024, according to a white paper released Friday by the State Council Information Office, titled "The CPC's Strategy for Governing Xinjiang in the New Era: Practices and Achievements."
