BEIJING, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) — By joining forces with other countries, China is helping accelerate the creation of an international environment conducive to women's development and a better world for all, according to a white paper released Friday titled "China's Achievements in the All-Round Development of Women's Affairs in the New Era."
According to the document, China plays a leading role in implementing the spirit of the Fourth World Conference on Women and, through concrete practices, promotes global governance in the field of women's development.
China will seamlessly integrate deepening cooperation on women's development into the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and South-South cooperation to jointly promote the sustainable development of women's affairs, the white paper notes.
China supports women in their efforts to play an active role in maintaining peace and security, as well as in responding to challenges such as climate change, public health crises and humanitarian disasters. -0-
