Order No. 2579-r of September 18, 2025

Several regions will receive priority funding in 2025 for projects to improve the environmental condition of their hydrographic network. An order has been signed to reallocate federal budget funds for these purposes.

The project concerns river cleanup in the Vladimir Region, Tatarstan, and Chechnya, which will receive a total of over 135 million rubles in additional funding. This decision will allow for more work to be completed in these regions in 2025.

Measures to improve the environmental condition of the hydrographic network are being implemented as part of the federal project "Water of Russia," which is part of the new national project "Environmental Well-Being." The main objective of this federal project is the comprehensive environmental improvement of water bodies across the country. It includes the construction and reconstruction of treatment facilities, including in the Baikal Natural Area, coastal stabilization, dredging, construction of hydraulic protection structures, and the organization of volunteer events to clean up riverbanks and lakes of household waste.
