MINSK, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) — The volume of industrial production in Belarus for the period from January to August 2025 in current prices amounted to 136.6 billion Belarusian rubles (about 44.9 billion U.S. dollars), or in comparable prices – 99.2 percent of the level of the same period last year. The relevant information was published by the Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Belstat) on Tuesday.
Production in the mining industry increased by 2.8 percent, while in the manufacturing industry it decreased by 1.2 percent.
In the electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply sector, production increased by 2 percent, while in water supply, waste collection, treatment and disposal, and pollution control activities it decreased by 0.2 percent. –0–
