BEIJING, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) — The aircraft carrier Fujian, China's third, will undoubtedly play a due role in protecting national sovereignty, security and development interests of the country, Defense Ministry spokesman Jiang Bin said at a regular press conference on Tuesday.
Jiang Bin made the remarks in response to a question about the recent testing and training of the aircraft carrier Fujian in the South China Sea.
The aircraft carrier Fujian recently passed through the Taiwan Strait to conduct scientific research tests and training missions in the South China Sea.
