The Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights under the President of the Russian Federation organized a round table on the topic: "Modern Problems of Forensic Expertise", within the framework of which a discussion of amendments to the Federal Law of May 31, 2001 N 73-FZ "On State Forensic Activity in the Russian Federation" took place.
The round table was attended by polytechnicians – leading experts in the field of engineering and technical expertise. Teachers of the Higher School of Jurisprudence and Forensic Technical Expertise in the direction of professional training 40.05.01 "Forensic Expertise" Dmitry Mokhorov (Director, Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor), Alexander Isaev (Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor), Alena Fogel (Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor), Natalia Danshina (Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor), assistants Pavel Menshikov and Arkady Kelarev.
Based on the results of the discussion, the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights under the President of the Russian Federation Boris Titov will send the final resolution on the proposed amendments to the law and the need to involve representatives of leading Russian universities and the professional expert community in the development of legislation in the field of forensic activities to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government Commission for the Coordination of Forensic Activities in the Russian Federation.
The Polytechnic University is the leading engineering university in the country, one of the few that trains qualified personnel in the field of state regulation of forensic activities and the production of technological, highly qualified examinations. The Center for Forensic Expertise was created on the basis of the Higher School of Law and Technical Sciences of the Humanitarian Institute, the activities of which are in demand in the system of Russian legal proceedings, law enforcement and administrative and managerial regulation.
