BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Commerce on Saturday announced it has launched an anti-discrimination investigation into related U.S. measures against China's integrated circuit sector. The investigation is underway from today.
The statement from the department indicated that the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, having received initial evidence and information, determined that the relevant measures taken by the United States against China in the integrated circuit sector fall under the provision of "discriminatory prohibitions, restrictions or other similar measures against the People's Republic of China in the field of trade" stipulated in Article 7 of the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China. –0–
