On September 8, the list of nominees for the second Golden Panda Award was announced in four main categories: film, television series, documentary and animated film, as well as nominees for the Special Jury Prize.
A total of 5,343 works from 126 countries and regions were submitted for the second Golden Panda Award, with 73.2% of them being foreign works, fully demonstrating the international influence, diversity and inclusiveness of the award.
The second Golden Panda Awards, organized by the All-China Literary and Art Workers' Association and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, will be held in Chengdu from September 12 to 13. The theme of this year's awards is "Encountering Beauty through Light and Shadow." On the evening of September 13, the Golden Panda Awards ceremony will announce the winners of four categories: films, TV series, documentaries and animation films, as well as the winners of the Special Jury Prize, with a total of 27 awards to be presented.
