BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — A themed exhibition, "International Friends and China's Anti-Japanese War," opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing on Tuesday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.

According to a message on the museum’s website, the exhibition is being organized by the National Administration for Cultural Heritage of the People’s Republic of China, the State Archives Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and the National Museum of China, with the support, in particular, of the Russian Embassy in China.

The exhibition features over 300 relics and 400 photographs, systematically telling the story of foreigners' participation in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Among them are international friends who risked their lives to help Chinese refugees during the Nanjing Massacre, American pilots of the Flying Tigers, Soviet pilots, medical workers, war correspondents, etc.
