Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, a joint meeting of the organizing committee for holding the Professionals, Abilympics and High-Tech Championships in professional skills was held at the Diana Gurtskaya Social Integration Center.
Dmitry Chernyshenko held a joint meeting of the organizing committee for the Professionals, Abilympics, and High Technology Championships at the Diana Gurtskaya Social Integration Center.
"As Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized, championships promote the popularization of blue-collar jobs, improve the system of secondary vocational education in accordance with modern economic demands and the needs of high-tech industries. One of the successful tools for cooperation between education and business is joint championships within the framework of the federal project "Professionalism" of the national project "Youth and Children". Every year, the championship movement is gaining momentum, and this year more than 1 million people took part in it, including contestants, teachers, volunteers and schoolchildren," noted Dmitry Chernyshenko.
He added that centers aimed at comprehensive support for children and young people with disabilities have also been created in the regions of Russia. Lifelong learning for talented people with disabilities is an important task for the state. On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, one of the successful tools for supporting people with disabilities is the Abilympics movement.
"We can effectively implement the instructions of President Vladimir Putin, creating conditions for the realization of the talent and capabilities of our children and youth. Thanks to the team of professionals who reverently and effectively interact with children with varying degrees of disabilities, during the operation of the center, more than 20 thousand children with varying degrees of disabilities took part in projects and became winners and prize winners of competitions and championships," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Deputy Prime Minister assessed the infrastructure of the Diana Gurtskaya Social Integration Center, which was created seven years ago on the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, and spoke with the institution’s students.
The center can be visited by 270 people daily, and 3.5 thousand participate in the center’s special projects throughout the year.
"Creative competencies for people with disabilities are numerous. They are able to gather completely different people into one professional team, combine their efforts to create a new creative product. The interaction of competencies allows us to master new directions and formats, transform universal competitive spaces and stage images into real cases for participants," emphasized the artistic director of the Center for Social Integration, member of the Public Chamber of Russia, People's Artist of Russia Diana Gurtskaya.
She noted the importance of creative development within the framework of the Abilympics championship for people with disabilities. This year, creative competence was among the three most popular. Diana Gurtskaya suggested expanding creative competences and allocating them into a separate area of the championship.
Representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as regions of Russia, spoke about the results of the championships.
Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov reported that the championship finals were held at a high level.
"I would like to personally thank the leadership of all the regions where the events of the championship movement on professional skills were held – the Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga regions. Today, the system of SPO is actively developing. In addition to the competitions themselves, the championships include a large career guidance program. We also organize a business program, within the framework of which we discuss the prospects of the movement," noted Sergey Kravtsov.
