XIAMEN, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) — Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng on Monday delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the 25th China International Investment and Trade Fair (CIFIT) in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province.
He Lifeng, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, said CIFIT has served as an important platform for promoting China's two-way investment and has become a bridge between China and the rest of the world, allowing the world to seize the development opportunities brought about by Chinese-style modernization.
China will steadily advance high-level opening-up, deepen international cooperation in industrial and supply chains, and promote high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road, the vice premier said.
He Lifeng expressed hope that global investors will continue to actively explore the Chinese market, work together to safeguard the international trade and economic order, and write a new chapter in the history of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation with China.
Before the opening ceremony of CIFIT, the Chinese vice premier met with foreign political figures participating in the event.
