WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday the White House is ready to move to a second round of sanctions against Russia amid deadlocked peace talks to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
When asked by a journalist whether he was ready to move to “the second stage of introducing sanctions against Russia” as he was leaving the White House and heading to New York, D. Trump replied: “Yes, I am.” However, the president did not go into details.
