Yuri Trutnev: The results of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 have been summed up
"This year, the jubilee 10th Eastern Economic Forum was held. 358 agreements worth 6 trillion 58.2 billion rubles were signed at the forum. But this is not the main thing. The forum became a place to sum up the work over the past ten years. On the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we continue to work for the benefit of the Far East, for the benefit of our Motherland. Social programs that are in demand by people, mechanisms for stimulating the economy and attracting investors have been launched. The instructions given by the President will be fulfilled in full," said Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and Holding of the EEF Yuri Trutnev.
Every year, foreign partners interested in developing business and good-neighborly relations come to the VEF.
"The words of our President that the EEF provides an opportunity to communicate with colleagues from almost the entire Pacific region are a high assessment of this work. The forum was attended by about 8,000 participants and media representatives from 75 countries and territories. The past EEF showed that regardless of the geopolitical situation, we are ready to advocate for equal cooperation with all constructively minded countries on the principles of responsible and long-term partnership," noted Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and Holding of the EEF.

"As you know, the development of the Far East and Siberia has been designated as a national priority for Russia for the entire 21st century. Then the regulatory framework began to be formed and updated, a number of business support tools were launched, including priority development areas, the Vladivostok free port regime and the preferential regime on the Kuril Islands, and the special administrative region on Russky Island. Large-scale plans have been launched to strengthen the transport, energy, and utilities infrastructure. Decisions have been made to support housing construction, repairs, and the creation of social facilities – schools, kindergartens, clinics, hospitals, and sports complexes. These efforts are combined into a large state program for the development of the Far East. It sets ambitious targets for accelerated economic and technological growth and improved well-being for residents of the Far Eastern constituent entities of the Federation. And these efforts are yielding the expected results. Over the past years, the Far East has taken a leading position in many key indicators, primarily economic ones, ahead of the Russian average,” Vladimir Putin emphasized.
