KUNMING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) — The concept of a community with a shared future for mankind has become a comprehensive and well-structured system of public intellectual goods in the years since it was proclaimed in 2013, opening up practical paths for cooperation for the international community, according to an analytical report released Saturday.
The report, titled "Answers to the Questions of Our Time: The Global Significance and Practical Value of China's Intellectual Public Goods," was prepared by the Xinhua Institute, a think tank affiliated with the Xinhua News Agency.
In this concept, the report notes, the main goal is to achieve lasting peace, universal security, shared prosperity, openness and inclusiveness, and a clean and beautiful environment based on the principles of joint consultation, cooperation and shared benefits.
It goes beyond differences in social system, ideology, history, culture and development stages, offering not only a new perspective on global governance, but also Chinese solutions to the pressing complex challenges facing the modern world, the report said.
