FUZHOU, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) — The 2025 BRICS Partnership Forum on New Industrial Revolution, themed "Unleashing the Potential of International Cooperation, Achieving Inclusive and Sustainable Industrialization," will be held from Sept. 16 to 17 in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced at a press conference on Friday.

It was noted that delegates from more than 30 countries and international organizations have already submitted applications to participate in the upcoming forum.

According to Zhu Ke'er, deputy head of the department of international cooperation, the event's program will include high-level industry dialogues, exhibitions and sub-forums dedicated to artificial intelligence, green and low-carbon development, the digital economy and industrial innovation.

She noted that the forum aims to create a platform for exchanges between governments, industries, educational and research institutions of China and foreign countries. According to her, the forum also aims to promote the harmonization and coordination of industrial policies of various countries and help enterprises expand cooperation opportunities.

China has hosted the BRICS Partnership Forum on New Industrial Revolution six times since 2019. The 2025 forum will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Fujian Provincial People's Government. –0–
