BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) — China has expressed deep condolences over the victims of the cable car accident in the Portuguese city of Lisbon, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said Friday.
“We express deep sorrow for the victims and sincere condolences to their families, and we also wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he said at a regular departmental press conference.
At least 16 people have reportedly died and 21 others were injured in a crash at a popular tourist attraction in Portugal's capital on Wednesday. -0-
