The Museum of Moscow invites you to an event dedicated to the private life of Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich and Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna. As part of the event, guests will be treated to a lecture "On the Family, Love, and Joint Service of Sergei Alexandrovich and Elizabeth Feodorovna" and a curatorial tour.
The lecture will reveal aspects of the famous couple's life that are unknown to the general public. Visitors will learn about the story of their meeting, the sacrament of the wedding, family leisure, the life of the grand ducal couple, travels and joint activities. The narrative will be illustrated with rare archival photographs, video chronicles and testimonies of contemporaries, which will help to see these historical figures in a new way.
