BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — A unit of People's Armed Police marched through Tiananmen Square on Wednesday during a military parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War in Beijing.
Crews from the four branches of the armed forces, the four branches of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the armed police forces, holding their flags, were represented together at the parade for the first time. -0-
