TIANJIN, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday said member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) should adhere to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win.
Xi Jinping made the statement while delivering a speech at the 25th meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council in Tianjin, northern China.
"We need to deepen the alignment of national development strategies and high-quality cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative," Xi Jinping said.
He called on the organization's member states to take advantage of their super-large markets and economic complementarity, and to improve trade and investment facilitation. -0-
